Once upon a time we were school kids and
I lived for you.
I was a different person,
Then
And had the wild inhibition of a butterfly whose job is
To drink life’s sweetest juice
And follow the sun.
Some might call me too much for these men,
But though I pop collars outside, I’m gentle within…
In this world, what’s life worth,
Except making true friends?
When you remain alone for too long
That’s when life tends
To make it miserable until the end.
